How do I identify a visitor with BankID in the chat?

  • If your company has BankID connected to the chat, you can identify the visitor with BankID. This is how you do:

    1. Click the three dots in the upper right corner when you have an ongoing chat – choose Identification:

    2. Click Send request to send the identification request:

    For you, it then looks as below in the chat:

    For the visitor, it looks like below. The visitor has to type their full Social Security Number, click IDENTIFY and open up the BankID application to be able to identify themselves.

    3. Now the visitor has identified themselves and you can see this in your chat and in Details > Identification:
