How do I open, close or schedule a phone queue?

  • To open a queue you click the three small dots to the very right, followed by Open queue:

    If you want to close it, you click Close queue:

    Close queue + Follow.png

    To follow schedule for the specific phone queue, you click Follow schedule (in the middle):

    To unfollow the schedule, you click Unfollow schedule:

    The difference between having a queue open, closed or scheduled is:

    Open:
    The telephone queue is constantly open and customers can call you 24 hours a day, until you manually close it or choose to schedule the queue.

    Closed:
    The phone queue is completely closed. No one calling in can reach you.

    Scheduled:
    You have a schedule opening hours for the queue. Maybe you want to keep the queue open between 7AM and 6PM everyday but keep the line closed the rest of the day – then you should use scheduling. You can also schedule specific lunch hours and holidays coming up. When using schedule, you as an agent will get notifications with a heads up that the queue will open in five minutes, so that you can be ready.

    You can see if your queue is open, closed or scheduled directly in the client. In the example below, the queue is scheduled and open until 12:00.

    If you follow schedule, you can click the little information icon/View schedule to find out what the schedule looks like:

    How do I edit the phone queue schedule?

    If you have the Admin permissions to do this, you go to Admin (enter https://admin.imbox.io/ in your browser). You can also click Edit schedule to be redirected to Admin:
